As soon as there was a hint of cooler weather in the air, I wanted to go Fall Crazy. To get myself in a festive mood for the upcoming season, I ran right to the store in search of Fall Decorations and Pumpkin Pie! I know it may have been a little too early for the pie but, I got it anyway.
Up ahead in the isle, I spot the Glade Fall display. I was so excited to see all the new scents they had created for this year's Fall Season. I rush over and immediately begin sniffing all the candles. I love the scents from Glade. I think they are true to their name and description. They always smell wonderful. I was looking for something different than the standard Apple Cinnamon that everyone has this time of year. As I walked around to the other side of the display, there it was. Exactly what I wanted...Autumn Harvest! I have to buy the room spray because I have little kids and I'm scared to death to burn candles in the house. So, without a thought I picked up a can and spritzed a little in the air for the sniff test. I know I'm not supposed to do that and I'm sure my 14 year old daughter could have died of embarrassment. I breathed it in and all of the sudden childhood memories came rushing back to me of playing outside on a crisp Autumn day, leaves crunching under my feet and the faint smell of a smoking chimney where there was a cozy fire burning inside the house. Ah Yes! This was the one!
This is how Glade describes this scent..."Autumn Harvest is a wholesome fragrance inspired by Mother Nature. The smooth woody and earthy base will allow you to savor the smoky scent of a chilly Fall day." "Smoky, Woodsy and Mellow (Rustic Scent)".
This definitely is a rustic scent. It makes me think of a rustic log cabin home in the woods. They really captured the scent of the trees, the dried leaves and the smell of the autumn air. I love it! I highly recommend it.

Barney Butter Almond Butter Product Review
I came across this Barney Butter Almond Butter as I was shopping at Lowes Food (NC based grocery store) the other day. It was actually in a clearance bin that I was digging through. It was on clearance for $3.40 for the smaller 10 oz jar ( The regular price was $6.99. I figured, what the hell? and threw it in the cart. I used to love peanut butter but, I started noticing as I got older that I just can't stomach some of the foods I could eat as a kid. Every time I eat peanut butter now I get this crazy indigestion and stomach cramps (and by cramps I really mean that my ass is doubled over in stabbing pain!). So I have had to avoid it. No more PB sandwiches for me.
I had heard that Almond Butter was a healthier alternative to peanut butter (You can check out the website for all the fun facts and information). Upon opening the jar there was some oil that had separated from the butter. I believe this is common for natural nut butters. There are no preservatives or other unnatural substances like you would find in a store bought peanut butter. So just stir it up and move on. It had a pretty thick consistency. I spread it onto a piece of oatnut wheat bread. I took the first bite and OMG! it was wonderful. Similar taste to peanut butter but better. It was thick and sticks to the roof of your mouth just like good ole peanut butter. It was sweet but not too sweet. I was so excited about this new discovery. I waited to see if the indigestion was going to strike and keep me up all night but, it didn't. I was fine, never felt a thing. I couldn't wait to get up and eat again for breakfast!
Barney Butter offers online ordering. They sell other products on their site as well such as, almond butter in portable packets, gift packs, a variety of almonds and almond flour. They also have a section for recipes. CLICK HERE!! to visit the Barney Butter website and discover a healthier alternative to peanut butter. They also have a Facebook page which I checked for coupons. Although they have sections for Promos and Sweepstakes, they are all dead links. So, I'm assuming they are not currently offering any coupons at this time.

McCormick Gourmet Seasoning Mix Review
I decided to try this new McCormick Gourmet Seasoning Mix. Specifically, I bought the Smoked Sausage and Pepper Creole Jambalaya Recipe & Seasoning Mix. It comes in a pouch with a clear window where you can actually see the spices inside. It's a cut above your pulverized powdered seasoning mix. It tasted pretty good. The flavors were fresh. I like this a lot better than the powered mixes and the Zatarains boxed mix which I think can sometimes have a bitter taste to it. Unfortunately, I have not seen any coupons for this item yet.

One A Day Women's Product Review & Coupon
Today I am going to be reviewing One A Day Women's Active Metabolism Vitamins. Over the past few weeks I have been feeling so worn out and tired. When I got out of bed in the morning it would take so long to finally get going for the day. Then, about 3pm in the afternoon I would be so tired and wanting to go and take a nap. Unfortunately, I can't take a nap with 3 kids in the house. I would start making dinner and feel so exhausted. My energy drain started to affect everyone in the house. I wasn't getting things done and couldn't keep up with the kids and housework. When I am not on point, everything falls apart in here.
While I was grocery shopping last week I happened to see these One A Day vitamins on the shelf. They had caught my eye because I had taken these vitamins quite a few years ago. For some reason I thought they didn't sell these anymore. I got so excited and threw them in the cart without a second thought. The next day when I started feeling sluggish, I took one. Just a little while later, I had put my laptop down and went to the kitchen and started cleaning. I washed all the dishes, cleaned the counter tops, mopped the floor and started making dinner. I was so happy that I had finally got everything done for once. I attribute my new found energy to the One A Day Women's Active Metabolism. They have B vitamins in there and a little caffeine and guarana for energy. Even though they contain caffeine, I did not experience any nervousness or jitters with these vitamins. I recommend these vitamins for any woman that's feeling sluggish or that's need an extra energy boost to help them get through a busy day.

Liberte Yogurt Product Review
I was on my weekly shopping trip when I came across Liberte Yogurt. I get bored if I go to the same grocery store all the time. So, I try to go to a different grocery store every week. This past week I went to an Ingles Market in North Carolina. I saw Liberte Yogurt advertised in the weekly ad for $1.00 each. I had not seen this particular brand in my other local stores so I thought I would give it a try. It turned out to be quite delicious! It has a smooth and creamy texture. The fruit flavor is delicate and not too sweet or over-powering. The yogurt itself was mild and creamy not the strong taste you would get with a Greek Yogurt. This is definitely on it's way to becoming my favorite! You can visit Liberte's Facebook page for a coupon for $.30 off. CLICK HERE FOR COUPONS!!

Lightlife Backyard Grill'n Burger Review (Vegetarian)
I just happened upon these Veggie Burgers in the grocery store the other day. I had not seen this brand before. My older daughter and I often like to try different vegetarian meat substitutes. We try to eat a vegetarian meal about once a week. My daughter says that sometimes she likes the taste of meat free products better than the actual meat they are immitating. I liked the fact that you can actually cook these burgers on the grill. We usually just microwave other veggie burgers we've tried. If you go over on the cooking time by 20 seconds they will get hard and dry. So we threw these on the grill right from the freezer. It says to cook them for about 7-9 minutes, turning once. The burgers actually look just like they do on the package. They had a nice grilled taste and a meaty texture. Even though I believe we cooked ours a little longer than it said on the package, they were still soft in the middle and not dried out. My daughter thought they were delicious! Lightlife offers 4 different varieties of burgers. At 190 calories, 20 grams of protein and 0 cholesterol. These are a healthy substitute for greasy beef burgers. The only thing you will miss from a real burger is the grease dripping onto your plate or running down your arm.
